The weather for A-Day may have been terrible and the game may have ended in a tie, but the Auburn faithful were excited to be watching their Tigers once again.
They got to see glimpses of how the returning players have developed over the offseason and how the newcomers are going to factor in. One player that stood out is quarterback Robby Ashford, who started the game with the first-team offense.
He showed off his mobility and threw a beautiful 39-yard pass to Tar’varish Dawson en route to being named the offensive MVP. Ashford finished with 38 yards rushing and one touchdown plus the 39-yard pass.
Here are the top Twitter reactions to the game.
