CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Seven members of the University of Illinois football program were honored Tuesday as College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2023 Academic All-District performers, with three Fighting Illini also being designated as finalists for Academic All-America.

To be eligible for Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade-point average, while also competing in 90% of the team’s total games or starting at least 66 percent of the team’s contests.
