The Indianapolis Colts (9-7) found a way to survive en route to a 23-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders (7-9) on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Even though the Colts had control of the lead from the opening drive of the game, the Raiders nearly mounted a comeback late in the fourth quarter. Still, the Colts did enough to get a crucial win at home and now have a chance to earn a playoff spot with a win in Week 18.
Before we get to that, though, here’s a look at the snap counts on offense, defense and special teams from the Week 17 win, followed by our analysis below:

Analysis
- The starting offensive line started and finished the game for the first time in over two months.
- RB Trey Sermon took the majority of backup snaps, playing 32% on offense behind Jonathan Taylor’s 68%.
- TEs Kylen Granson (62%) and Mo Alie-Cox (61%) played nearly the identical number of snaps while Will Mallory’s role was reduced to just 16%.

Analysis
- For the first time this season, S Nick Cross played 100% of the snaps.
- S Ronnie Harrison Jr. got the start at safety, playing 97% of the snaps while Rodney Thomas II has seemingly been benched. He played just two defensive snaps.
- With CB Kenny Moore II inactive, the slot duties belonged to CB Chris Lammons, who played 80% of the defensive snaps.

- S Trevor Denbow (77%) led all Colts players in special teams snaps.
- LB Grant Stuard (67%), S Rodney Thomas II (63%) and CB Ameer Speed (63%) also saw significant special teams snaps.
- WR Josh Downs (37%) led all offensive players in special teams snaps.
