Texas could see nine or more players drafted come April.
In Pro Football Network’s latest seven-round mock draft, Ian Cummings projects nine Longhorns to be taken off the board in the 2024 NFL draft.
That number could rise if players such as Ryan Watts and Keilan Robinson perform well at the NFL Combine and Pro Day. For now, the duo was not projected to be selected in PFN’s mock draft.
An interesting note from Cummings’ mock draft is that Texas wide receiver Adonai Mitchell was selected before defensive tackle Byron Murphy. Many feel Murphy is the No. 1 defensive tackle in this draft class and is a first-round lock, but Mitchell’s draft stock has skyrocketed recently.
Here’s a look at where each Longhorn lands in PFN’s seven-round mock draft.
