Browns sign Devin Bush to one-year deal

If there is one thing you can count on, it is general manager Andrew Berry taking a chance on former first-round picks with the Cleveland Browns who haven’t worked out. That continued on Thursday after NFL rumors indicated the team brought in former Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks linebacker Devin Bush for a visit, which resulted in the team signing him to a one-year contract.

Bush was the tenth overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft and had a promising rookie season before tearing his ACL in his second season. Since then, he hasn’t lived up to his draft stock and has under-performed despite his talent.

The Browns are now betting on finding a way to get the best out of Bush, pairing him with one of the better linebackers coaches in the league, Jason Tarver.  Bush is a fantastic athlete with great sideline-to-sideline speed. He hasn’t been able to put it all together as he did at Michigan.
