The offensive line will look far different in Dallas next season as All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith is headed to the New York Jets. It was a busy free agency Friday for the Cowboys, but not for great reasons.

Wide receiver Michael Gallup and linebacker Leighton Vander Esch were released, a wave goodbye to the 2018 draft class. It’s also reflective of the move to let go of Amari Cooper and rely on a player coming off a season-ending injury.
