Question: What makes you most excited about the outside linebackers as well as the younger players and what stood out for the true freshmen.

Lupoi: Yeah, I mean, it’s a group that starts with just extremely strong character. You know, really, really proud of that and the way they represent our organization both on and off the field and I say, within that character, it’s a bunch of guys that want to get better, they improve.

They’re constantly pushing each other so I love being in that group, but that room and seeing how those guys push each other, motivate each other pick each other up when needed, you know, and kind of demand a lot really, you know, and you know, Coach Cam, he has done an awesome job with those guys, as well. You know, putting them in positions of success. And now it’s, you know, we want to take it to the next level. You know, there’s a bunch of guys like Matayo (Uiagalelei), Blake Purchase, who got some action and made some big time plays for our defense last year. You know, taking that to the next step is our goal. And then there’s, you know, individuals in there that you know, they’re they’re here for a reason, Jaden Moore, Elijah Rushing, Ashton Porter and then of course, we feel like is a rock and a leader of the room and Emar’rion Winston. So, you know, it’s a group that we’re excited about. We’ve also brought in Jackson Jones as an individual that’s like, can fly inside can play outside. he did not have as much high school film and he’s coming off of an injury so we haven’t seen him get the action yet.
