Penn State Class of 2025 profile: 4-star linebacker DJ McClary

Penn State football Class of 2024 commitment tracker

When Penn State sees a four-star linebacker in Pennsylvania or New Jersey, you know James Franklin and his staff are about to go all out to keep that recruit from going anywhere else. That was the story with four-star linebacker DJ McClary out of New Jersey in the Class of 2025.

McClary was among the top early recruiting targets for Penn State in the Class of 2025 and the early effort paid off as he committed to the Nittany Lions well ahead of the pack. McClary will continue to add to the quality depth Pen State has at the linebacker position when he arrives on campus, and there could be a lot to look forward to down the line.

Here is a snapshot look at DJ McClary, one of Penn State’s commits in the Class of 2025.
