Top takeaways from Clemson’s 2024 Orange and White spring game

All eyes were on Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik heading into this spring game and for a good reason. If Clemson wants to achieve their lofty goals for their 2024 season, Klubnik will need to play much better than he did in 2023. Arguably, the most essential part of this game was seeing if Klubnik improved, which I would say he did. While he started slow, throwing an interception on the second drive of the game after the first drive went three plays for -3 yards, Klubnik turned it around and put together a solid performance.

It was good but not great for Klubnik, who showed some signs of improvement. However, I wouldn’t call it a drastic change from the season prior. It’s just the spring, so there’s really no need to overreact one way or another here. Improvement is good to see, and you can definitely see it as the game goes on. Klubnik looked far more comfortable down the stretch and made some excellent throws, but it wasn’t a great day for him, just good.
