The Arlington Renegades have opened up the season with two losses, and their defense hasn’t looked at all like the same unit from a year ago. This has led to the organization making a move: signing former New Orleans Breakers DE Anree Saint-Amour.
BREAKING: The Arlington Renegades are signing DE Anree Saint-Amour, per source.
Anree was outstanding with the Breakers in 2023, posting 30 tackles, 7 TFL, & 6 sacks. Great pickup for an @XFLRenegades defense that needs some help. #UFL pic.twitter.com/J2mppdoEJZ

Part of the reason why Arlington picked up Anree is because Tuzar Skipper has gone on the injured reserve list. Tuzar was acquired by trade from Seattle this offseason. He posted 20 tackles and six sacks with the Sea Dragons in 2023.
Now, the Renegades have gone back to the pool of former spring football athletes. Anree Saint-Amour is a tremendous pickup for this group, and is a player that surprisingly remained a free agent for this long.
The #USFL50 stays wavy today with Anree Saint-Amour coming in at number 47.
