The Cleveland Browns had some unordinary wins in 2023, some of them led by unlikely heroes like quarterback PJ Walker and running back Kareem Hunt. However, both of those players remain unsigned even after the 2024 NFL draft.
Now that the draft has ended, however, teams will circle back to free agency to use the remaining unemployed players to plug up the remaining holes on their roster. Just last year, we saw the Browns add defensive Shelby Harris in August and trade for defensive end Za’Darius Smith a month after the draft ended.
So not all hope is lost for the likes of Walker and Hunt. These two players are not the only guys who suited up for the Browns in 2023 to find themselves unemployed either. All-in-all, nine guys who were on the roster in Cleveland a year ago are still looking for a new place to call home. Here are all nine of those guys:
