The 49ers’ schedule is officially out, which means we can start making predictions. San Francisco’s 18-game slate is pretty daunting and includes every team they faced in the playoff last year, a very good NFC North division and a very good AFC East, on top of the first-place teams from the AFC West, NFC South and NFC East.
Avoiding the Super Bowl hangover will be paramount for San Francisco, and they can get off to a good start with one of the “softer” portions of their schedule coming up top. After the first few weeks though it becomes a gauntlet on paper.
We still recommend they play the games, but here are our way-too-early predictions for all 17 49ers games:
