One of the reasons head coach Matt Rhule said he found the Nebraska job so appealing was the university’s consistent financial support of the program. When you look at the salaries for the team’s assistant coaches, it’s clear that support is very real.
Offensive Coordinator Marcus Satterfield was recently listed among the 12 highest-paid OCs in the entire country. His 2024 pay will total approximately $1.2 million.
Nebraska is spending a total of $2 million dollars on offensive coordinators as co-coordinator Glenn Thomas will earn $800,000 in each of the next two seasons.
The Huskers will also be spending near the top of the charts for the defensive coordinator position, with Tony White earning $1.6 million in 2024. White earned a 60% raise after his unit’s impressive performance in 2023.
