COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri football head coach Eliah Drinkwitz was a guest on ESPN’s College GameDay Podcast this week with hosts Rece Davis and Pete Thamel.

Listen in as they wide receiver Luther Burden III’s “Luther instincts,” the revolutionary style of the head coaches at the SEC meetings, some of the discussions at the SEC meetings and the case for keeping walk-ons as part of college football going forward. Drinkwitz also jokes about how he and his family go through adversity each time they board a Southwest flight.

The Tigers, coming off an 11-2 season with a Top 10 postseason ranking and win in the 88th Goodyear Cotton Bowl, open the 2024 season against Murray State on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. CT on SEC Network inside Memorial Stadium. The matchup is only the fifth weeknight game at Faurot Field since 2009.
