Blaise Sokach-Minnick was not a player with a handful of offers from Power 5 conference programs, although he did have some level of interest in a few including Boston College, Pittsburgh, Stanford, and Oregon State. But Penn State was an easy favorite for the in-state recruit. Although Penn State did not have a scholarship offer to extend, the Nittany Lions did welcome Sokach-Minnick to the program as a walk-on player in the Class of 2022.
