Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has been named as a dark horse MVP candidate for 2024. Tight end Trey Mcbride, his teammate, believes Murray has it in him to be MVP.
We have seen Murray play at an MVP level in parts of multiple seasons. He was getting MVP talk through about a five-game stretch in 2020 and was the favorite to win it through the first half of 2021.
But the Cardinals aren’t expected to be a great team, and MVPs typically come from good teams.
Murray will have to put up big numbers and the Cardinals must win games to do it.
