The quarterback position is the most important position in football. It makes the biggest impact at every level, from the NFL to the pee-wee. The film and what we see with our eyes can paint one picture, but the folks at Pro Football Focus allow us to view the game through a different lens.

The Detroit Lions locked in their veteran leader, Jared Goff, to a lucrative and well-deserved contract extension this offseason. Goff has proven to be a Pro Bowl quarterback capable of winning big games in Detroit, where that’s not something that has really happened before.
