The Washington Commanders were back on the field for Day 2 of training camp Thursday. Quarterback Jayden Daniels took center stage again with several impressive throws and looked more comfortable in the offense than veteran Marcus Mariota. Mariota took most of the first-team reps, but the two did split time.
The team did more red-zone work as they continued to ramp things up before putting on the pads for the first time. There was some 11-on-11 work as well as more 7-on-7s.
What else happened on Thursday in Ashburn? It’s time for our daily look at some of the sights and sounds from Day 2 of training camp, courtesy of those in attendance.
