OL Steven Gonzalez
While not officially announced by the league yet, the St. Louis Battlehawks have brought back Steven Gonzalez. This is excellent news for their offensive line, as Gonzalez has been a mainstay the last two years.

In 2023, Steven started in all ten games for St. Louis at left guard, shining as a Pass Blocker, with an 82.5 Pass Blocking grade via PFF. He earned All-XFL honors in 2023 due to these efforts.
Steven Gonzalez returned to St. Louis for the UFL’s season, and played at a high level once again. He started in all 11 games played this year, with a strong 83.0 Pass Blocking Grade. Steven has consistently been a reliable protector for A.J. McCarron and Anthony Becht’s offense, playing an important role in the success of guys like RB Jacob Saylors, who earned All-UFL honors this year.
DL T.J. Pesefea Jr.
In addition to Gonzalez, the Battlehawks have brought back T.J. Pesefea. Pesefea was primarily a depth piece defensively this year, seeing action in all 11 games but not making any starts. T.J. was an offseason addition to the roster, earning a spot in Training Camp. He totaled nine tackles and a sack with the Battlehawks this year. Considering some of the aging linemen may not return to St. Louis next year, Pesefea may have an opportunity to see an increased role in 2025.
