The Vikings’ 2024 season took a major hit over the weekend when it was revealed that rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy was experiencing knee soreness. It got worse when, on Tuesday, it was confirmed that he needed to have surgery on his knee, and then on Wednesday, they announced he was done for the 2024 season with a torn meniscus.
