Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy scores TD on first NFL touch

The Kansas City Chiefs got rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy involved on their opening drive of the 2024 regular season on Thursday night against the Baltimore Ravens.

The speedy wideout, who ran the fastest 40-yard dash in NFL combine history back in March, scored a touchdown as soon as he got the ball in his hands after finding a seam to get into the end zone in the first quarter.

Check out this video of Worthy’s spectacular touchdown against the Ravens, which was among the most talked about moments of the game when the NFL posted it to their official Twitter account:

Kansas City settled for field goals through the rest of the first half, so Worthy’s touchdown proved to be the difference between a lead and a deficit when the halftime whistle blew.
