Did the Bills make a mistake by not drafting Chiefs’ Xavier Worthy?

The Buffalo Bills made an interesting decision during the 2024 NFL Draft as they traded out of the 28th pick, allowing the Kansas City Chiefs to select wide receiver Xavier Worthy with the pick. Granted, most people in the NFL space gave Buffalo credit for moving back in the draft as they eventually took receiver Keon Coleman with the 33rd overall selection, but some fans are having second thoughts after what happened on Thursday.

The Chiefs faced off against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday as part of Thursday Night Football with Kansas City eventually coming out on top with the 27-20 win that came after an official review ruled that Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely was out of bounds on his touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. However, before that moment even came to pass, plenty of fans took to social media to revisit the decision that the Bills made during the draft.

Worthy did his part in the win as he went off for two touchdowns (one receiving and one rushing) that showcased just how much his game-breaking speed could translate to the NFL. Worthy ultimately picked up 68 yards from scrimmage in the crucial win for the Chiefs and here is what social media had to say about Worthy’s performance and how that relates to the Bills:
