Watch Tez Johnson electrify Autzen Stadium with punt return TD

The Oregon Ducks’ week two game against Boise State certainly hasn’t gone according to plan, but in the second half, Oregon is beginning to come alive. The first points of the half came off a short slant to Ducks’ wide receiver Traeshon Holden, who broke a Boise State tackle on the way to a 59-yard touchdown.

After one of a few defensive stops from the Oregon defense, Boise State dropped back to punt. Moments later, Oregon WR Tez Johnson returned the Broncos’ punt 85 yards to give Oregon a 27-20 lead.

Johnson caught the punt with a Broncos’ defender breathing down his neck. First, he made a move left — toward the near sideline — before cutting back to the right side. After making a few defenders miss, Johnson picked up speed streaking up the sideline, turning the corner, and charging into the end zone.

Go Tez Go.
