Ep. 785 – In the preseason, the outcome takes a backseat to individual performance. So, while the Cardinals did not win on Saturday, there were quite a few players who flashed in the 21-13 loss at the Indianapolis Colts. Quarterback Clayton Tune, who got the start, turned in another solid effort. Rookie Trey Benson showed why he was the second running back drafted. The pass rush came alive, whether it was Cameron Thomas, Xavier Thomas, Victor Dimukeje or L.J. Collier, who appeared to be a part of every play that first defensive series. Craig Grialou and Dani Sureck discuss it all; and yes, the penalties, too. Regardless of who is on the field, the Cardinals cannot expect to win a lot of games if they are flagged 11 times, including seven by halftime. They must be better.
