Social media reacts to Tennessee’s win against Kent State

No. 9 Tennessee (3-0) returned to Neyland Stadium on Saturday after playing a neutral site contest last week in Charlotte, North Carolina. Rankings reflect the US LBM Coaches Poll.

The Vols defeated Kent State (0-3), 71-0, to remain undefeated during the 2024 college football season. 71 points is the most scored for the Vols in any game since 1929.

Tennessee totaled 740 yards (456 rushing, 284 passing) against Kent State.

Dylan Sampson totaled 101 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 13 attempts. DeSean Bishop also recorded 120 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns on seven attempts for the Vols.
