The Saints’ first-team offense has scored on 14 consecutive possessions to start the season. Carr was nine of 11 for 222 yards, two touchdowns passing and a 1-yard touchdown run. Kamara had nine carries for 60 yards with two touchdowns rushing and one receiving. Shaheed had four catches for 96 yards in the first half. Chris Olave added three catches for 68 yards. The Saints had 310 yards of offense. Receiver Cedric Wilson left with an abdomen injury.

Dallas scored on three field goals and a 65-yard touchdown pass from Dak Prescott to CeeDee Lamb. Defensive end Carl Granderson had a sack for the Saints’ defense and cornerback Paulson Adebo picked off Prescott with a minute to play and returned it 47 yards to set up the final New Orleans score.

Dallas will get the ball to start the second half.
