Center Erik McCoy placed on injured reserve

To replace center Erik McCoy, the New Orleans Saints are opting for an in-house approach. The Saints placed McCoy (groin) on injured reserve Wednesday, signed center Shane Lemieux from the practice squad to the active roster and added Chris Reed to the practice squad. A physical football game against the Philadelphia Eagles resulted in a long injury list for the New Orleans Saints ahead of their Week 4 trip to Atlanta.
