The Kansas City Chiefs are almost back to square one in figuring out their issues at the wide receiver position.
Veteran Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, who signed with the Chiefs as a free agent earlier this year, remains sidelined after a preseason injury, and second-year wideout Rashee Rice is now set to miss an undetermined amount of time with a knee injury he sustained on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Though rookie speedster Xavier Worthy remains available for Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes to utilize, Kansas City’s receiving corps lacks the depth that general manager Brett Veach worked to bolster in the offseason.
With 13 games left to play in the regular season, the Chiefs would be wise to sign another pass-catcher who can help keep their offense afloat while Brown and Rice recover.
