The St. Louis Battlehawks made a major splash in free agency yesterday, signing WR Andy Isabella. The former NFL draft pick will join St. Louis ahead of UFL Training Camp, barring any NFL opportunities that may arise before then.

Andy Isabella is a tremendous pickup for this Battlehawks offense. They already feature some of the UFL’s best, and now this wide receiver room got even more dangerous.
Isabella played his college football at Massachusetts, working his way into a starting role across the final few seasons. In his college career, Andy posted 3,526 receiving yards and 30 touchdowns, getting better from year to year. As a junior in 2018, he led the entire country with 141.5 receiving yards per game. Andy was PFF’s highest graded WR that year, with a grade of 93.2.

This led to plenty of NFL interest. Andy Isabella was selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals, with high expectations coming into the NFL. He ended up recording over 400 yards with the Cardinals across a few years – but his role diminished with each and every season.
