GAME NOTES
• Friday’s game against No. 6 Oregon marked Michigan State’s first time playing back-to-back opponents ranked in the AP Top 10 (No. 3 Ohio State last week) since 2019 when the Spartans played three-straight Top 10 teams (No. 4 Ohio State, No. 8 Wisconsin, No. 6 Penn State).
 
SERIES
• Friday night was MSU’s first visit to Eugene since 2014 and the second in a row against a ranked Ducks team, as the No.  7 Spartans lost to the No. 3 Ducks, 43-27, on Sept. 6, 2014 . . . Friday was the eighth time overall the Spartans and Ducks have met on the gridiron, and Oregon now leads the all-time series, 5-3.
 
OFFENSE

• MSU scored at least one rushing TD for the fourth game this season, also posting a ground score in the Florida Atlantic game (8/30/24), Prairie View A&M (9/14/24) and at Boston College (9/21/24).
 
• Sophomore quarterback Aidan Chiles was 10-of-17 passing for 154 yards. . . Chiles also rushed for a career-high 12 times, marking the first time in his collegiate career with double-digit rushing attempts, and finishing with 29 yards.
 
• Graduate running back Kay’ron Lynch-Adams scored his second rushing TD of the season with Friday night’s touchdown . . . Lynch-Adams finished the night with nine carries for 32 yards and the score . . . Lynch-Adams also scored a TD in the season-opener vs. Florida Atlantic (8/30/24).
 
• Junior tight end Jack Velling made his return to the state of Oregon, after transferring from Oregon State . . . Velling had six catches for 53 yards . . . Friday’s six catches tied Velling’s season-high and both have come on the road, matching the half-dozen receptions at…
