TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona kicker Tyler Loop earns Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week honors, as announced today by the conference.
 
Loop made a program record five of six field goal attempts with kicks of 47, 40, 30, 37, and 52 yards to score 15 of the Wildcats 22 points against Texas Tech on Saturday. This is the first Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week honor for Loop and he is the third Wildcat to earn a conference weekly honor this season. 

Arizona has had a player earn a Big 12 Player of the Week honor in back-to-back weeks with Tacario Davis taking home the Defensive Player of the Week accolade after the 23-10 win over Utah in Week 5.
