The San Antonio Brahmas have been quite active in signing defensive linemen. Their most recent addition is DE Kobe Jones, who brings some depth to an already elite lineup on defense.

Kobe Jones played his college football at Mississippi State, primarily as a depth piece for the first few years. However, he earned a starting role during his senior season, posting 32 tackles and two sacks that year. Jones totaled 101 tackles and seven sacks in his college career.

This earned Kobe some NFL interest. In 2021, he signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an UDFA. Since then, he’s bounced around several organizations – never finding a place to truly settle down in.
Jones has had stints with the Dolphins, Titans, Packers, Panthers – and most recently – the New England Patriots. Kobe played in one game with the Patriots this preseason, posting a tackle and two quarterback hurries.

Interestingly enough, Jones was also playing in the CFL this year. He spent a few weeks with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, with two tackles and a sack to his name. Now, he’ll look to continue his pro career in the UFL, with the Brahmas.
