How every SEC football team performed in Week 7

Week 7 is now in the books, and Texas and LSU made the biggest statements in the conference this weekend.

The Longhorns played their first Red River Rivalry as a part of the SEC as they welcomed Quinn Ewers back to the starting lineup. They strolled to an easy win in the Cotton Bowl as the Sooners failed to put up a fight. In other news, it has been a rough couple of weeks for Alabama fans. After losing to Vanderbilt last weekend, the Tide nearly lost to an unranked South Carolina team at home.

Georgia struggled with Mississippi State more than I thought they would, Missouri took care of business, and Tennessee survived a scare from the Gators in Knoxville. The best game of the day happened between LSU and Ole Miss as they put on a classic under the lights at Tiger Stadium. LSU came out on top in overtime after not leading during the entire game.

Hereโ€™s a rundown of how each team fared in Week 6.
