Updated College Football Playoff projections for Week 11

Georgia is making a road trip to Ole Miss, which feels like a potentially dangerous game. Georgia is riding high in the rankings but already has a loss on its record. A second loss could be detrimental for the Bulldogs, at least if hoping to win the SEC and secure a first-round bye or even lock up a home game in the first round. Meanwhile, Ole Miss could catapult into the playoff picture with a win against the Bulldogs.

The most important game this week may be another SEC contest though. Alabama visits LSU in a game where the winner will keep playoff hopes alive and well and the loser could very well fall out of the race entirely. Right now, Alabama is in with one of the final seeds available according to these projections, and LSU is knocking on the door to get in just on the outside of the top 12 seeds. A win over the Crimson Tide would likely get the Tigers to take Alabama’s spot.

Indiana looks to be putting themselves sin good shape as well, but they will host Michigan this week and have a game against Ohio State coming up soon. We should also be paying close attention to BYU visiting bitter in-state rival Utah this week.
