The Kansas City Chiefs got back to work this afternoon at practice as they trained for their Week 15 matchup against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
After workouts concluded, the Chiefs released their first injury report in Week 15, which gave insights into the condition of some important players.
Thankfully Kansas City’s injury report was not extensive on Wednesday and, ideally, no surprises will be in store for the Chiefs as the week progresses.
Fans got some good news, with kicker Harrison Butker making his first appearance at practice since he was placed on injured reserve. While it is still not certain if Matthew Wright will continue to fill in for Butker this week, the club’s starting kicker could be returning to active status soon.
Those excited to see D.J. Humphries make his second appearance after recently joining the team will take note that he missed practice today due to a hamstring injury that forced him off the field in Week 14. Hopefully, Humphries will not need to miss any more time after he was sidelined due to last year’s ACL injury.
Take a look at the complete first injury report for the Chiefs in Week 15:
Humphries missed practice on Wednesday due to a hamstring injury.
After a successful knee surgery, Butker returned to workouts on Wednesday while remaining on injured reserve. He was a limited participant in his first practice.
Jawaan Taylor is dealing with a knee injury which limited his participation at practice on Wednesday.
