The Patriots’ offensive line has been one of the team’s biggest weaknesses this season, and it’s clear that the issues extend far beyond adding a top-tier tackle. Injuries, positional shuffling, and inconsistent play have left the line in disarray.

David Andrews’ injury forced Ben Brown into the center role, where he has struggled. Michael Onwenu, once a reliable cornerstone, has been moved between guard and tackle, limiting his effectiveness. Rookie Layden Robinson has shown flashes of potential, but like many rookies, he’s had his share of growing pains. The Patriots even relied on Michael Jordan for 11 games, a player not even on the roster anymore, further highlighting their lack of depth.

To fix the offensive line, the Patriots need a complete overhaul. This means investing in free agency, the draft, and trades to create a cohesive unit that can protect Maye and establish a reliable run game. Without significant changes, the offense will continue to struggle regardless of Maye’s talent or the skill players around him.
