The Kansas City Chiefs are riding high on a four-game win streak ahead of their Week 16 matchup against the Houston Texans on Saturday. The Chiefs held their first practice session in preparation for the showdown on Tuesday afternoon, a day earlier than the typical schedule.
After practice, Kansas City released its first injury report for Week 16.
Fans got their first official update about the injury sustained by Patrick Mahomes during the Chiefs’ win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday and defensive back Chamarri Conner’s status heading into Kansas City’s matchup against the Texans.
Though the Chiefs’ unconventional practice schedule will make Kansas City’s injury news something to watch as the week progresses, there weren’t any major surprises in the team’s release this afternoon.
Here are all of the players listed on the Chiefs’ initial injury report for Week 16:
Chamarri Conner did not practice today after sustaining a concussion in the Chiefs’ Week 15 win over the Browns.
