One of Iowa’s specialists is departing the program.
Iowa kicker Tripp Woody revealed his departure in a Friday social media announcement. Woody joined Iowa as one of the Hawkeyes’ walk-on additions in its 2024 class.
The 5-foot-9, 197-pound kicker did not see any game action this season, but he was Iowa’s backup kicker.
To Iowa,

Woody connected on 10-of-14 field goal attempts as a senior at Charlotte Christian High School.
