Seven Transfers Set to Join the Football Program

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Maryland head football coach Michael Locksley announced the additions of seven transfers to the Terrapin program on Sunday.

Locksley welcomes Jalil Farooq (Oklahoma), Dorian Fleming (Georgia State), Jayvin James (Akron), Dontay Joyner (Arkansas State), Justyn Martin (UCLA), Eyan Thomas (Saint Francis) and Kaleb Webb (Tennessee) for the 2025 season.

  • Played in 36 career games at Oklahoma across four seasons, making 25 starts
  • Totaled 89 receptions for 1,287 yards & seven TDs during his time with the Sooners
  • Returned 32 kickoffs for 708 yards 
  • Only played two games in 2024 due to injury; has one season of eligibility 
  • Started all 13 games in 2023, totaling 694 yards on 45 receptions (15.4 yards per catch) and two touchdowns 
  • 2023 Honorable Mention All-Big 12 Selection
  • Was named the Paul Hornung Award Player of the Week on 10/7/23 for his 130-yard receiving game against Texas 
  • Became first Sooner with at least 100 receiving yards and 100 kickoff return yards in the same game when he registered 126 yards and a touchdown on six catches and 105 yards on three kickoff returns (season-long 62-yarder) at Tulsa (9/16/23)
