The Bucs fought their way into the NFL playoffs by winning the NFC South with a record of 10-7 in the regular season. They did it, and now they face off against a team they handled in Week 1 in a one-sided matchup: the Washington Commanders.
The rookie quarterback looks much different after 18 weeks of the regular season than he did in Week 1. Will the Bucs be ready for the adjustments he has made to not only himself but the Commanders team as a whole?
Jayden Daniels status update
Jayden Daniels is potentially the NFL’s Rookie of the Year and that means he has turned himself into a dynamic playmaker. He passed for 3,568 yards and 25 touchdowns while adding a whopping 891 rushing yards and scoring six times on the ground. The Bucs getting Antoine Winfield Jr. back will help but the entire defense is going to have their work cutout for them.
Daniels is of course playing and it will be an interesting matchup to watch on Sunday when the Commanders travel to the Bucs.
