Michigan football recruiting rolled in 2025 and is starting to pick up in 2026 now that the transfer portal cycle is winding down.
The Wolverines just wrapped up a big recruiting weekend on campus and are looking to the future. Even though he was not in attendance in Ann Arbor, the maize and blue have done a good enough job with 2026 Thomasville (Ga.) Thomas County Central four-star edge rusher Cam Brooks that they made his newly released top group on Monday morning.
Cal, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Clemson, and Auburn also made the cut for the elite Georgia edge rusher.

Michigan had a solid track record the past few cycles when it comes to edge rushers. This past cycle, the Wolverines brought in high four-star Nate Marshall and four-star Julius Holly. The previous year, the Wolverines brought in Dominic Nichols (who is on track for a bigger role in 2025) and Devon Baxter.
