Michigan football 2026 recruiting is picking up in recent weeks, especially as transfer portal recruiting winds down. And as the Wolverines closed out a big recruiting weekend in Ann Arbor, they’re still looking outside for those who may have interest in eventually joining the class.
One up-and-comer managed to get an offer, and it’s someone who’s been pledged to an SEC school since June 2024.
Though not a highly-rated prospect, 2026 Tupelo (Miss.) three-star running back Jaeden Hill has been committed to in-state Mississippi State for seven months. However, his star appears to be picking up and he announced a Michigan football offer on Sunday.

He has offers from the likes of Arkansas, Missouri, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, USC, Wisconsin, and others.
His brother, Daniel Hill, was in the 2024 recruiting class and played for Alabama this past season. He was a four-star rated No. 121 overall.
Michigan has made more of a push in recent memory to get into the state of Mississippi, somewhere where it has not had, essentially, any success recruiting.
