On Friday, the St. Louis Battlehawks added two more players to the roster. They’ve re-signed All-UFL LB Willie Harvey Jr., and also brought in OG Cole Spencer to boost the offensive line unit.
The St. Louis Battlehawks have officially re-signed LB Willie Harvey, which is excellent news for their defense. Harvey was All-UFL this year, setting a Battlehawks franchise record with 79 tackles.

Not surprisingly, the St. Louis Battlehawks have brought back Willie Harvey Jr. – one of their mainstays on the defensive side of the football.
Harvey played with the Battlehawks in 2023, and saw some success. However, his campaign in 2024 is what set him apart from almost every other linebacker in the league. Harvey totaled 78 tackles this year, leading the UFL, and earning him All-UFL honors.

On top of that, Willie Harvey Jr. found ways to make an impact in almost every way imaginable. He racked up nine TFL’s, four sacks, and six PBU’s this year. Harvey had a solid 71.8 Defensive Grade in 2024 via PFF, with a Pass Rushing Grade of 90.0.

Harvey was signed by the Dallas Cowboys in the offseason, earning a preseason opportunity with the team. He had some ups and downs, but was ultimately let go during cutdowns at the end of August.
