Kade Eldridge is a 6-4, 235-pound tight end and athlete from Lynden, Wash. USC landed the commitment from Eldridge last week. Eldridge picked the USC Trojans over Pac-12 foes Washington and Oregon. Michigan was also in the running for the dual-threat athlete, but at the end of the day, the Trojans earned the final call.
In the 2021 season, Eldridge finished with a combined 794 yards rushing and receiving and scored 11 touchdowns on offense. He averaged 8.3 yards per carry and 10.6 yards per reception.
While the Trojans will likely use him as a tight end, Eldridge also plays defensive end. He came up with 62.5 tackles, including 15 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. He also forced a pair of fumbles.
Eldridge announced his first NCAA Division I offer from Washington State University on February 9. He racked up 11 subsequent offers over the ensuing four months before narrowing his options down to five: the University of Washington, the University of Oregon, the University of Michigan, Washington State University, and USC. Eldridge will try to excite Trojans fans even more about their new offensive weapon next year.
