USFL Standout Punter Brock Miller Signs With Los Angeles Rams

Houston Gamblers Mauled Again: Will the Trend End in Week Six?

While the NFL’s regular season is nearing its end, USFL athletes continue to sign with teams. Brock Miller, punter for the New Jersey Generals, has signed with the Los Angeles Rams.

Miller was a sensational punter for the Generals in 2022. He was a key piece to Mike Riley’s 9-1 squad, serving as one of the most consistent specialists in the league.

One of his highlights from the season came in week ten, against Philadelphia. Brock Miller booted a ridiculous punt that went over 85 yards – and did so from the back of his own end zone. Clearly, Miller is extremely talented, and now gets a crack at the NFL on the Rams practice squad.

The USFL wasn’t the first spring football experience for Miller. He played with the Seattle Dragons in the XFL during the 2020 season, before it was cut short due to COVID-19.

Now, Miller has a chance to pursue his NFL dreams with the Los Angeles Rams. Had it not been for the platform – and the national exposure – that the USFL provided him with, who knows if this opportunity would have come along.
