Cincinnati Bengals fans and the NFL world in general got some terrible news on Friday when the team revealed that Joe Burrow would miss the rest of the 2023 season due to a wrist injury.
Burrow, who suffered the injury during Thursday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens while taking a hit, appears to be headed for surgery to fix the torn ligaments.

In the interim, the Bengals will turn to Jake Browning as the starter with AJ McCarron as the primary backup.
Given the news and with the team at 5-5, both fans and beyond had plenty of noteworthy reactions after the news went live.
If Burrow’s injury was acute in nature as Zac said, then the #1 organizational goal must be to build a 1990s Cowboys OL-type fortress in front of Joe for the rest of his career.
No more time for the Volson’s of the world to learn on the job.

Prayers up for a full recovery for Joe Burrow

Burrow plays through pretty much everything he can. This calf was a great example of that. Needing wrist surgery means the guy legitimately can’t throw. And we saw that last night when he tried on the sideline.
