Sunday a testament that Horn and Hunt belong among the best

Getting to Orlando as a starting Pro Bowler meant Horn was able to appear in the flag football game on Sunday afternoon. He didn’t play the whole time, but it was enough to remind him the format isn’t relatively as easy as anticipated.

“I just had to lock in,” Horn laughed, “like grabbing the flag is not as easy as you think moving that fast, but it was fun.”

It’s not necessarily an applicable skill that can be translated to the game next fall, but being around some of the games best offered Horn the kind of insight that can only come at the Pro Bowl.

“I got a chance to chop it up with a few guys, older guys that I grew up watching, so you know it’s always cool just to get around them, get a few tips, and be able to chop it up,” Horn said.

Now Horn can head back to the Carolinas with some knowledge from his peers, but more importantly, the recognition. The fact it came in what was essentially his first full season in the NFL provides a type of motivation that can’t be found elsewhere.

“It definitely gives you a lot of confidence,” Horn admitted. “Obviously, as a corner, you got to have a lot of confidence and belief in yourself, but getting rewarded for playing for a season and going to the Pro Bowl would definitely make you want to go play even better next year and repeat it.”
