Ducks to host No. 1 OT in 2023 class this weekend

The Oregon Ducks are going to be hosting one of the best offensive players in the 2023 recruiting class this weekend, with Kadyn Proctor scheduled to touch down in Eugene and meet with Dan Lanning, Adrian Klemm, and the Oregon coaching staff.

Proctor, who stands at 6-foot-7, 330 pounds, is rated as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2023 class, and the No. 7 player overall. He is from Des Moines, Iowa, and plays his high school ball at South Polk.

Back in February, Proctor released a top-7 recruiting cut-down and included the Ducks in the mix.

Though he is predicted to land with the Iowa Hawkeyes, after what Klemm and Lanning were able to do in landing 2022 5-star OT Josh Conerly earlier this month, you can’t count them out when it comes to recruiting a big-time offensive lineman. Proctor is among the most coveted players in this recruiting cycle, and Oregon is going to be trying hard to get in good favor with him this weekend.
