Over the preseason, each profile will cover where the player is from, how recruiting websites rated them coming out of high school, and what role they will play for Jimbo Fisher this season.

Adarious Jones is entering his redshirt junior year at the defensive tackle position, looking to capitalize off of what was a solid 2021 sophomore season for the young defender. As a key member of the 2019 recruiting class for the Aggies, Jones was a star defensive tackle for Bishop Sullivan High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and from his junior to senior season, he recorded 13 total tackles and 1 sack and was a fixture on the defensive line during his time there. After signing his commitment to Texas A&M on June 30, 2018, Jones redshirted after appearing in 3 games during the 2019 season,  accounting for 1 total tackle on the year. Before the 2020 season began, it was announced that Jones miss the entire year due to a knee injury. During the 2021 season, Jones played in 10 games, tallying 12 total tackles and 0.5 sacks as the backup to the then starting defensive tackle and current Pittsburgh Steeler, DeMarvin Leal.
