Raiders sign WR Hunter Renfrow to two-year extension worth $32 million

“According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, the Raiders have signed Renfrow to a two-year extension worth up to $32 million. That deal includes $21 million in guaranteed money and it will keep him under contract through the 2024 season.”
Now that Renfrow is locked up, the Raiders will have one of the best receiver duos locked up for quite some time. In fact, are they the best receiver duo in the NFL today? Definitely top five at the very least, with potential to be the best in 2022.

Raiders reportedly sign free agent CB Chris Jones

“Jones appeared in seven games last season for the Titans, collecting one pass breakup and seven combined tackles (five solo).”
No, not that Chris Jones. This Chris Jones has a chance to make the Raiders’ roster if he puts together a good training camp.

Denver not selected to host World Cup games in 2026

“Denver was a finalist to host World Cup matches but was not selected. Had the city won its bid, the Denver Broncos would have been set to host games at their stadium, Empower Field at Mile High.”
This isn’t necessarily Broncos news, but it’s related in a sense. Kansas City ended up winning a bid to host 2026 World Cup matches though, which kind of makes it feel like K.C. beat Denver once again.
